probably, i talked to one of my friends that is secialized in materials he said it's probably due to fatigue but maybe there was an air bubble in the metal somewhere and it caused to fail at that point. there is many theories but we will probably never know

just a good o'l tripod would do the job to get the video waaaayy better. I like to see that youguys where motivated enought to climb in the trees close to the flat out section. Noticed you had a dirty lens in some shot :P But else really nice edit.
